Stroudie Central does have embedded YouTube videos. If you’re logged into YouTube (and possibly any other Google service) and watch a video that company may track you based on the cookie preferences you have with them. This is out of our control.
Images for Amazon products in the Local Books section (and other sections) are hosted on Stroudie Central servers. That means Amazon don’t know you’ve loaded a page with a book image. If you click a Buy Now link you’re taken to the Amazon website and their cookie rules apply. If you make a purchase from the Amazon site I will receive a very small sales commission.
Stroudie Central like most websites has a visitor counter and some form of Google analytics, but as you don’t sign into the site personal information is limited to whatever standard information your browser sends. This allows Stroudie Central to see which pages on the site are popular to determine the type of content to produce.
