A large truck tried to get up the W that leads out of Nailsworth this evening and made a pigs ear of it.
Obviously nobody could get past and behind the end of the trailer is a very big drop onto Pensile Road so it was sort of lucky it got stuck where it was.
A police car came charging down the W with it’s siren blasting presumably to sort it all out. Either that or they didn’t know the road was blocked.
Anyway, it was all fairly exciting and caused total strangers to speak to one another like it does when it snows.
Obviously if Stroudie Central had the budget of a proper news organisation we would have sent a reporter to stay on the scene giving minute by minute updates.
As we have no budget whatsoever you get the single photo I took while encountering it on my mountain bike.
