The Stroud Goodwill evening kicked off with the grand switch on of some Christmas lights strung along the balcony of the Sub Rooms after a jubilant countdown from ten, or less. I can’t remember as I was fiddling about with my camera.
There should have been snow squirting from snow machines but if there was I didn’t see any from the other side of the road. As ever, the attendance was huge with some fabulous paper lanterns made by local schools being paraded around the town being led by somebody on a huge pair of stilts.
