The annual Wheelnuts car show was on this Sunday at the St Rose’s school in Stroud.
Sadly somebody forgot to place the order for warm sunshine this year so instead it of being the kick start to the run of summer shows it normally is, it was a bleak reminder of the fact we appear to still be stuck in the grips of winter!
No matter, the deep gurgling rumble of old V8 engines brought back the smiles and nostalgia of days past and all the smoky old engines brought home why modern cars have to comply with strict emissions controls.
Not everything on wheels was vintage this year as there is a growing collection of more modern customised vans taking part.
