The 2017 festival of nature took place today in Stratford Park and helped along by the fantastic weather again drew in the crowds.
Lots of local stalls including the Stroud Bee Keepers society, various animal welfare groups, Transition Stroud and the Canal Restoration group showing plans for connecting the Stroud navigation back to Saul Junction to name but a few. Obviously there were cakes and ice cream stalls as well!
A pinhole camera stall allowed you to step way back in time to try your hand at pinhole photography.
Seeing black and white prints being washed in a developing tray outside brought back some old memories of pre digital days!
There are also a couple of very good exhibitions on at the Museum in the Park, one of which is a photography exhibition called Grasslands of the Stroud Valleys by Debra Roberts and a fabulously decorated tree in the courtyard.
